Professional Statement
As an enthusiastic designer, I believe that collaboration is at the successful design. I am a recent graduate with BSc. Product Design Engineering, Specialised in 3D modelling and visualisation. I hope to find a role as a junior product designer. Ideally, I would like to expand my industry knowledge and skills further.

University of Derby Product Design Engineering BSc [1st]
My time at the University of Derby has deepened my engineering knowledge covering topics such as technical drawings, CAD/CAM, Material properties and manufacturing techniques. Having opportunities to work with external companies has been vital to experiencing working with a private bathroom company to understand their design needs and requirements. This experience aided my developing knowledge in areas such as user & market trend research, sketching and physical prototyping.
Liverpool John Moores University Product design engineering DipHE [2.1]
At Liverpool John Moores University I gained fundamental knowledge in product design, including user research, Material and manufacturing. It was here where I developed my core practical skills in product design sketching, CAD, Presentation and Visual Communication. As part of the course, I attended a specialist centre to develop my workshop skills including working with Wood metal and technical drawings.

This Practical course not only helped me gain an understanding of working to and challenging a design brief, I also developed essential project management and planning skills. The course also covered skills such as research, experimentation and Communication. Here I practised the Photographic and graphic design skills that have allowed me to excel in the visual elements of product design.

Work Experience
Three Designs Consultancy: Designer 2021 - Current
I influenced the design of the Branding and website using the Adobe Suite (Illustrator & XD). Other responsibilities included; Building relationships with suppliers, collecting samples & shade cards, and organising the suppliers and manufacturers database. Makerspace: Mentor - 2020
As a mentor at the University of Derby Makerspace, I represented the university as part of a team in the 2020 MathWorks COVID-19 design challenge. The challenge was to design model and CAD solutions to allow the safe reopening of primary schools after the COVID-19 lockdown. I Prepared and took part in presenting the team’s concepts and solutions. We achieved 2nd Place.
CELLB: Creative Design Intern 2013-2014
CELLB is a multi-purpose venue and hostel in Blaenau Ffestiniog, North Wales. during my internship here I
practised graphic design in a working environment. I also learned the value of understanding the client’s vision and exploring and delivering on brand results.

During my two years in South Africa, I taught subjects such as personal improvement and addiction recovery.

Southport Rugby Club: Photographer 2012-2013
As a photographer for the Southport rugby club, I developed my time management skills whilst I photographed the local teams home games, and edited them ready to be used in the local newspapers the next day.
